Questions people ask

What is Augmentin 625 Duo used for?
It is an antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections, such as ear, nose and throat infections, chest infections, urinary tract infections, and skin and dental infections. A doctor prescribes it when bacteria are the likely cause. It does not help infections caused by viruses. Augmentin 625 Duo
Does Azithral 500 work for a cold, flu or COVID-19?
No. Azithromycin acts only on bacteria. Colds, flu, COVID-19 and most coughs and sore throats are caused by viruses, which it cannot kill. Taking it for these does not speed recovery, can cause side effects and adds to antibiotic resistance. A doctor decides whether an infection is bacterial. Azithral 500
Can I take Calpol 650 on an empty stomach?
Yes. Paracetamol is generally gentle on the stomach and can be taken with or without food. Food may make it start working slightly later. Unlike painkillers such as ibuprofen, it is not known for irritating the stomach at normal doses. Calpol 650
Can I take Crocin Advance on an empty stomach?
Yes. Paracetamol is generally gentle on the stomach and can be taken with or without food. Food may make it start working slightly later. Unlike painkillers such as ibuprofen, it is not known for irritating the stomach at normal doses. Crocin Advance

Is Ecosprin 75 a painkiller?
No. Aspirin relieves pain only at much higher doses, such as 300 mg or more. At 75 mg it mainly makes platelets less sticky, and the coating delays its effect. Do not take extra tablets for a headache or fever; ask a doctor or pharmacist which painkiller suits you. Ecosprin 75

How we check every page

  1. Trusted sources

Every fact comes from the approved label, the National Formulary of India, CDSCO, WHO or peer-reviewed references, listed on the page.

  2. Pharmacist review

A registered pharmacist checks uses, doses, warnings and interactions. Their name and review date appear on the page.

  3. Your language

Each language version is checked against the English, so doses and warnings say exactly the same thing.
